This anaerobic honey coffee was showcased by the 2022 Kenyan Barista Champion, making this particular lot the most interesting coffee in Kenya this year!

THE FARMER'S STORY

Akinyi Shamba is an organic coffee estate located in Migori County, Western Kenya; nurtured by women. The farmer, Jackline Akinyi, has partnered with Mau Mau Kahawa Camps to produce micro lots of Natural Anaerobic processed coffees. We found the coffee to have notes of mango juice, passion fruit, wild berries and acacia honey.

It's complexity in flavor characteristics makes it perfect for both filter and milk-based coffees!
