This washed coffee is probably the most complex washed we've come across since we started sourcing specialty coffee from Kenya.

We have roasted this coffee with a medium-light roast profile to highlight its origin characteristics, stone-fruit, cherries and juicy texture.
And in our opinion, this coffee wins as an everyday-all-the -time filter coffee!

THE FARMER'S STORY
Ruwawa, named after David Waweru (the producer) and his mother's initials, narrates his evolution to a fifth-generation coffee farmer. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic disrupting his education, David refocused on his family's coffee legacy, pursuing specialty coffee courses on scholarship.
Implementing eco-friendly and organic farming practices, including shade-grown coffee, he diversified his farm, fostering biodiversity and creating additional income streams for the community.
